<h1>Finance Student – AR Specialist</h1>
<p>We’re looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Accounting student to join our Finance team and take an active part in our day-to-day accounts receivable and collections.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on role with exposure to customers, Sales and GTM teams, as well as key finance processes and reporting. You’ll help us stay on top of collections, keep our financial data accurate and improve the way we work as we continue to grow.</p>
<h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Manage collection follow-ups, payment reminders and customer communication</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Review AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work closely with Sales and GTM teams on customer balances and payment issues</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Track payment commitments and flag potential collection risks</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Process credits and refunds and maintain accurate documentation</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Respond to customer questions related to payments, balances and statements</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Keep customer and payment data accurate across HubSpot and our finance systems</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support DSO, AR aging and collection performance reporting</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support monthly ARR reporting and reconciliation</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Help prepare weekly cash collection forecasts</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support month-end AR reconciliations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Help improve and automate collection processes as we scale</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>What You Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Currently pursuing a BA in Accounting with at least 1.5–2 years of studies remaining</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Availability for approximately 90 hours per month</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Fluent English</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proactive, responsible and able to take ownership</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Nice to Have</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Previous experience in AR, collections, bookkeeping or another finance-related role</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with HubSpot, Stripe, Tabs or accounting software</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Interest in SaaS and startup finance</p>
</li>
</ul>
