This role will be responsible for building a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment that enables employees to do their best work while supporting the operational needs of a growing healthcare technology and services organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on IT leader who can balance long-term technology planning with day-to-day execution. You will partner closely with leaders across teams to ensure technology solutions are aligned with business priorities, scalable, secure, and user-friendly. <h2>Where You’ll Drive Impact</h2> <h3>IT Strategy & Leadership</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and execute a scalable IT strategy aligned with Iterative Health’s business and growth objectives.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish IT roadmaps, priorities, standards, and operating processes across the organization.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Serve as a strategic technology advisor to executive and functional leaders.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop and manage the IT budget, vendors, contracts, and technology investments.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build and mature the IT function from an initial lean team into a scalable organization capable of supporting a rapidly growing, multi-site healthcare technology and services business.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead, coach, and develop the Corporate IT team.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish clear roles, responsibilities, service expectations, and performance metrics.</li> </ul> <h3>Infrastructure & IT Operations</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Oversee corporate IT infrastructure, networks, endpoints, applications, identity management, and collaboration tools.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure reliable, streamlined, secure, and scalable technology across corporate offices, remote employees, and clinical research sites while keeping costs efficient.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish standards for device provisioning, lifecycle management, access management, and technical support.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build effective IT service management processes, including help desk, incident management, asset management, and service-level expectations.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish the IT operating model, organizational structure, processes, policies, and service standards required to support the company’s evolving technology needs.</li> </ul> <h3>Cybersecurity, Privacy & Compliance</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Oversee the company’s cybersecurity program, and work with the internal team to set security strategy, policies, controls, risk management, monitoring, incident response, and employee security awareness.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Oversee vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity and access controls, and security awareness programs (IT and networking infrastructure initially, but may extend to cloud systems eventually). </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate incident response and business continuity planning for technology-related risks and lead information and security for the company. </li> </ul> <h3>Systems & Applications</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with business leaders to assess, select, implement, and optimize enterprise applications and technology platforms.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish governance around application ownership, integrations, data flows, and technology standards.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify opportunities to consolidate systems, automate workflows, and improve data connectivity.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support technology integrations related to acquisitions, partnerships, and organizational growth.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish governance for enterprise applications, including application ownership, administrative access, lifecycle management, integrations, licensing, renewals, security requirements, and data ownership.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish standards for SSO, automated provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access, and application access reviews.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify and implement opportunities to automate employee lifecycle, access management, IT operations, and cross-functional administrative workflows.</li> </ul> <h3>Cross-Functional Partnership</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with People and Finance on systems supporting employees, payroll, financial operations, and business administration.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with Clinical Operations and site leadership to support technology needs across the clinical research network.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish a formal co-governance structure with Product & Engineering to ensure appropriate technology, security, and compliance controls are in place, with clear ownership, accountability, and separation of duties.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide clear communication to employees and leadership regarding technology changes, risks, and priorities.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Performs related duties as requested</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Procurement to establish technology and security requirements for third-party vendors and participate in vendor risk assessments. </li> </ul> <h3>Technology Integration & Expansion</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead IT due diligence and technology integration for acquisitions, partnerships, new offices, and clinical research sites.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop repeatable standards for onboarding acquired organizations, users, devices, applications, networks, and data.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Identify technology risks, integration costs, system redundancies, and remediation requirements during due diligence.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Develop transition plans for identity, endpoints, collaboration platforms, networking, SaaS applications, and security controls.</li> </ul> <h2>What You Bring</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">10+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant experience leading enterprise IT operations.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience leading IT within a high-growth, healthcare, technology, life sciences, or similarly complex organization.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven experience developing and executing an enterprise IT strategy and roadmap.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong understanding of infrastructure, SaaS applications, networking, endpoint management, identity and access management, and cybersecurity.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, technology implementations, and third-party service providers.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience building and leading high-performing IT teams.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong understanding of IT governance, security, privacy, compliance, and risk management.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience supporting distributed or multi-site organizations preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with M&A technology integration or organizational scaling strongly preferred.</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving
