Through this strategic partnership, we combine complementary expertise and capabilities to advance innovative immunotherapies for patients living with multiple myeloma.</span></p></div><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Legend Biotech is seeking a <strong>Principal Bioinformatician</strong> as part of the <strong>Early Drug Development</strong> team based in <strong>Somerset, NJ</strong> or <strong>Remotely</strong>.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Role Overview</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">This role is to support translational strategies across pipeline development programs. He/She will lead computational analyses integrating multi-modality clinical, and biomarker datasets to enable mechanism-of-action understanding, patient stratification, pharmacodynamic assessment, etc. to support translational decision-making.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Translational Biomarker Analysis with multi-modality and multi-omics assays such as Bulk and Single cell RNA-seq, TCR/BCR-seq, WGS/WES, Amplicon-seq, ATAC-seq, ctDNA/liquid biopsy, Proteomics and&nbsp; cytokine profiling, spatial and multiplex imaging, Flow cytometry/CyTOF.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support translational biomarker discovery and validation including identification of pharmacodynamic (PD), predictive, prognostic, and response biomarkers; integrated analyses correlating biomarker data with: Clinical outcomes, PK/PD measurements, Safety for Patient stratification and Mechanism-of-action hypotheses.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Build and maintain reproducible and scalable bioinformatics pipelines using cloud or high-performance computing environments. Contribute to translational data infrastructure and data governance strategies. Ensure analysis reproducibility, traceability, and documentation compliance. Higher-level approvals are required for those related to significant technical selection, budget allocations, strategic shifts, or major collaborations that have substantial scientific, financial or long-term implications.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">PhD (5+ years) or MS (8+ years) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Systems Biology and related quantitative biological sciences.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">&nbsp;Strong expertise in bioinformatics, statistics with some biological training background, with experience in translational research in oncology, immunology or autoimmune disease. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
