Role Description
As a Quantum Algorithms Researcher/ Engineer, you will be collaborating closely with our scientists, engineers, and customers. You will design quantum algorithms, implement them on actual quantum hardware, and rigorously benchmark them against classical alternatives. You are expected to bring a blend of research excellence, practical implementation ability, and engineering discipline, serving as a subject matter expert in your own niche.
Qualifications
A strong track record of high-quality research and innovation in quantum computing, demonstrated by publications or significant projects.
Minimum 5 years of relevant post-PhD experience (or equivalent experience after an MSc).
Proven experience with quantum algorithms, such as VQA (QAOA, VQE) or QUBO implementations, and benchmarking them against classical solutions.
Deep practical knowledge of one or more major quantum algorithm frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
Practical experience with quantum cloud platforms.
Strong programming skills in Python. Ability to write clean, testable, production-grade code.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across disciplines, both internally and externally.
Capability to provide technical direction or mentorship and guidance to Associate and Expert Scientists.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus but not a requirement:
Experience with hybrid quantum-classical architectures, including classical preprocessing or circuit simulation.
Familiarity with quantum circuit optimization, error correction, or error mitigation techniques.
Industry experience applying quantum computing to optimization, finance, energy, or logistics.
