As a founding Data Scientist for Xometry’s India PDT team, you will also help establish strong data practices, build cross-region trust and collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and execution as the organization scales. How You’ll Contribute: AI Driven Analytics <ul> <li>Drive AI-Enabled Software Development: Champion the adoption of AI across the SDLC, identifying and scaling innovative ways to accelerate data analytics across Xometry</li> </ul> Analytics & Business Insights <ul> <li>Define metrics to measure product and business performance</li> <li>Analyze data to identify opportunities, issues, and key business drivers</li> <li>Turn insights into actionable recommendations and estimate business impact</li> <li>Build dashboards and visualizations to track performance and trends</li> </ul> Experimentation & Statistical Inference <ul> <li>Design experiments to measure the impact of product and business changes</li> <li>Apply statistical and causal inference methods to draw reliable conclusions from data</li> </ul> Data, Tools & Technical Leadership <ul> <li>Prepare and analyze large datasets using cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake</li> <li>Use SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Looker, and related tools to analyze data and generate insights</li> <li>Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to shape strategy and priorities</li> <li>Clearly communicate insights, model results, and recommendations to stakeholders</li> </ul> Found and Scale Xometry’s India Product Development Center <ul> <li>Serve as a founding Data Scientist, establishing strong data science practices and building a high-performing team</li> </ul> What You'll Bring to Xometry: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5+ years of progressive data scientist experience</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree required; degree in applied math, computer science, natural sciences or engineering preferred</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">M.S. or Ph.D. in a related field highly desired</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Fluent in Python (pandas, numpy, SciPy, and scikit-learn preferred)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficient in linear algebra and statistics</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Familiar with scientific software principals, e.g. versioning systems, reproducibility</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired</li> </ul> #LI-Hybrid<div class="content-conclusion">Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
