How do I add my startup to VCbacked?+

Fill in the form on vcbacked.co/submit-company with your company details, latest funding round and investors, then confirm using the link we email to your work address. Confirming also creates your free VCbacked account. We review the submission and email you when the listing is live, usually within a day.

Is it free to list a company on VCbacked?+

Yes. Adding or updating a company listing is free and needs no payment details.

Which companies can be listed?+

VCbacked lists startups that have raised outside funding: pre-seed, seed, angel, Series A and later venture rounds, convertible notes and similar. Agencies, consultancies, ecommerce shops and companies without a funding round are not listed.

Why do I need an email at the company domain?+

It's how we confirm you work at the company. The email address must be at the same domain as the website you submit, for example [email protected] for acme.com. Personal addresses such as Gmail can't be used.

What information do I need?+

Company name, website, a one-line description, headquarters, industries, employee range and founders, plus the latest round type, amount, date and investors. You also need proof of the round: a link to a press article or other third-party source, or an uploaded document such as an investor update or closing confirmation.

My company is already listed but the details are wrong. What do I do?+

Use the listing update form at app.vcbacked.co/update-listing. Pick the fields to change and confirm with your work email. The form here only adds companies that are not listed yet.

How do you verify the funding round?+

Each submission needs one source for the latest round. A link to a press article, press release, investor portfolio page or regulatory filing is fastest to check. You can instead upload a PDF or image, such as an investor update, closing confirmation or SAFE. Uploaded documents stay private and are only seen by our review team.

How long does review take?+

Most submissions are checked within a day. If we cannot confirm the funding round we reply from [email protected] and ask for a source.
